Areas We Serve

Mamba Drainage covers Vancouver and Burnaby. No travel fees anywhere in the coverage area. Ryan and the crew work across both cities daily, and New Westminster sits inside the same run.

Most of the neighbourhoods we serve have older housing stock. Clay perimeter drains, cast iron stacks, galvanized supply pipes. We know what to look for, and the camera goes in before anybody quotes a dig.

Vancouver on one side of Boundary, Burnaby on the other

Vancouver. East side, west side, south Vancouver. Older housing throughout, and the drainage work follows it. Clay drain tile, cast iron stacks and Poly-B supply are the three things we open up most often on this side of the line. No guessing, camera first every time.

Burnaby. No extra charge for Burnaby. Same crew, same pricing, same camera before the quote. We work across Burnaby daily, from the towers and older family homes around Metrotown out to the hillside lots and post-war bungalows on the north side.

New Westminster. New West sits inside the same coverage area and runs on the same structure, so a call from Queens Park is handled exactly the way a call from Mount Pleasant is.

The practical reason to have a page per neighbourhood is that the answer is not the same everywhere. A lot that sits below its neighbours catches what they shed. A street that has been separated behaves differently from one that has not. A block of pre-war homes carries a different pipe than a block of towers. Each area page below is written off real sources for that area rather than a template with the name swapped, and every one of them ends at the same phone number.

Whichever side of Boundary Road you are on, the work is done by one crew. No subcontractors, Red Seal certified plumbers, full general liability and WCB coverage, and paperwork you can hand to an insurer or a strata council at the end of it.

Drain Tile

What fails, and why it is the same story across the map

The housing stock is what makes this a small number of problems repeated across a lot of addresses. Pre-1970 clay tile drain tile is still in the ground under a large share of the homes we work on, cast iron stacks are still carrying waste inside them, and the supply side is a mix of galvanized, copper and Poly-B depending on the decade the house was last touched.

Most of what we see traces back to four root causes.

Aging clay tile. Clay drain tile does not fail all at once. It cracks at the joints, settles out of grade and loses the ability to move water away from the foundation, and it does that over several winters before anything shows on a basement floor.

Root infiltration at clay joints. Boulevard trees find the joint, open it, and grow into the pipe. It is not fast, but it is certain, and it is the single most common thing our camera finds.

Sediment. Laterals and drain tile silt up over decades and lose flow capacity long before anything visibly fails. The line is not blocked. It is just not moving what it used to.

Undersized or aging sump systems. A pump that has been fine for years is exactly the pump that quits at the peak of a storm, and that is when the basement finds out.

None of the four announce themselves. Which is why we diagnose with an HD camera before recommending a direction, in every neighbourhood on this page. The scope shows you what is failing and where, and then you get to pick the fix. It is a very different conversation from a number quoted off a walk around the driveway.

Coverage area FAQ

Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminster are the core coverage area, and the neighbourhood pages below all sit inside it. We also work in Richmond, Surrey, Delta and on the North Shore.

No. There is no travel fee anywhere in the coverage area. Burnaby costs the same as Vancouver, same crew and same pricing structure.

Call (778) 961-0824 and ask. The pages below cover where most of our work happens, not the edge of where we will drive.

Yes. Vancouver and Burnaby carry live 24/7 dispatch for basement flooding, sewer backups and burst pipes, answered by a person rather than a menu. You get a real arrival window on the call.

No. One crew does the work everywhere on this page. Red Seal certified plumbers and a certified gas fitter on staff, so the gas side never gets handed to a third party either.

Yes, on every major job, in every area. We will not recommend an excavation or a replacement without camera evidence, and the footage is yours to keep.

Yes. Full general liability and WCB coverage. Certificates of service, photo logs and cause and condition reports go to property managers, insurance brokers and strata councils on request.

Because the answer is not the same everywhere. Housing stock, grade and what the City has done to the street all change the right fix. Each page below is written off real sources for that area.

Yes. Restaurants, strata buildings, parkades, retail strips and industrial sites, with annual, semi annual and quarterly maintenance contracts available across the same coverage area.
